The Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has left Nigeria for America.
Atiku will spend a week in the US, where he would interact with Nigerians and the business sector, according to a statement released by his team.
”As part of his programmes and engagements while in the US, he would be meeting with Nigerians in the Diaspora as well as with PDP members in North America.
“He would also meet with top Nigerian business leaders based in the US and later with young Nigerian professionals in the Diaspora, among other meetings with some business community,” the statement read.
Atiku is expected to return to Nigeria on Monday to continue his electioneering campaigns.
He is scheduled to take his campaign rally to Ekiti State on Tuesday, November 1, and Ondo State, Wednesday, November 2.
Atiku has already campaigned in Akwa Ibom, Kaduna and, Edo tates.
