Super Eagle of Nigeria has failed to make it to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, after playing 1:1 draw with Ghana in the return leg in Abuja, Tuesday night.
Nigerian Super Eagles had played a goalless draw in the first leg played in Kumasi against the Black Stars of Ghana on Friday.
But in the return leg played at Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja, the Super Eagle fail to beat the Black Stars after the visitors took the lead in the 11th minute of the game through Thomas Partey.
The Ghanian star short squirmed under the Nigerian goalkeeper to give the visitors a lead before a foul was awarded against them in the penalty box, thanks to VAR.
