More players have joined the Super Falcons training camp in Abuja for next month’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The latest players to arrive the training camp at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, include Uchenna Kalu and Nicole Payne.
This was announced on the team’s Twitter handle on Monday afternoon. This brings the total number of players in camp to 23, including powerhouse striker and reigning Africa’s best female player, Asisat Oshoala.
The Super Falcons will play their 2018 finalist rival, South Africa in their opening game, hoping to upturn their last defeat at the maiden edition of the Aisha Buhari Invitational Tournament in 2021.
The competition kicks off on the 2nd of July to 23rd of July, 2022.
