Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, has sacked chairmen of the 14 local government area councils in the state.
Governor Matawalle, however, re-appointed eight of them as sole administrators.
The state House of Assembly had on Thursday dissolved councils in the state for alleged financial recklessness and improper record-keeping by their officials.
Among the sacked council chairmen reappointed as sole administrators are Ahmed Balarabe, Muhammad Umar, and Nasiru Masama. Also reappointed by the governor as sole administrators are Abdul-Aziz Nahuche, Salisu Dangulbi, Shehu Faru, and Lawali Abdullahi.
