Troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) have cleared multiple terrorist hideouts in the Sambisa Forest on Thursday.
The clearance operation, which took place between 6 a.m. and 12 p.m., targeted key insurgent enclaves in Garin Malam Ali, Garin Glucose, and Ukuba areas of the forest.
According to multiple reports, the combined forces overran the hideouts after a sustained offensive, forcing the insurgents to flee in disarray, abandoning weapons and critical equipment.

Items recovered from the operation include assorted arms, ammunition, and materials used in the fabrication of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).
The operation is part of ongoing efforts to dislodge remnants of Boko Haram and ISWAP elements from the Sambisa axis.
Reports further disclosed that the exploitation of the forest and surrounding areas is still ongoing.
