…as big win philanthropy visits Presidential Villa
Vice President Kashim Shettima has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visionary and pragmatic leadership will reshape Nigeria into a more prosperous and dynamic nation in the near future.
Speaking at the Presidential Villa in Abuja at the weekend during a courtesy visit by Big Win Philanthropy, led by its CEO Jamie Cooper, the Vice President expressed confidence that the bold investments being made under the Renewed Hope Agenda—particularly in healthcare and education—will yield long-term national benefits.
“In a couple of years to come, I am projecting a vibrant and better Nigerian society,” Shettima said. “We are investing in healthcare and education — it is a game-changer. With education, within a generation, the son of a pauper can become a celebrated icon.”
He praised Big Win Philanthropy’s commitment to partner with the Tinubu administration and expressed optimism about how the foundation’s expertise aligns with the government’s development priorities.
“We are ready to explore how your wealth of experience intersects with our bold vision,” he added.

Highlighting one of the government’s key health initiatives, the Vice President said the Nutrition 774 Initiative, a grassroots-focused programme, is designed to tackle Nigeria’s health challenges from the ground up.
The initiative seeks to institutionalise nutrition at the local government level as a means to reverse negative health indicators and improve national well-being.
The visit by Big Win Philanthropy signals growing global interest in supporting Nigeria’s development agenda under the current administration.
