Tinubu Heads to Katsina for Security Talks, Project Commissioning, Family Event

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Friday begin a two-day official visit to Katsina State to engage in high-level security discussions and commission key infrastructural projects.

According to a State House statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the visit will see the president meeting with stakeholders to review the security situation in the North-Western state.

President Tinubu is also expected to commission the newly completed Katsina Agricultural Mechanized Centre and a 24-kilometre dual carriageway project executed by Governor Dikko Umar Radda.

Aside from official engagements, the president will also attend the wedding ceremony of the governor’s daughter before returning to Abuja.

The visit comes amid heightened national attention on rural insecurity and efforts by state governments to boost agricultural productivity and infrastructure.
