Fiery Anambra-based preacher, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has ignited social media with a sensational tirade against Nigerian university courses—while boldly hinting at running for president in 2027.
In a viral video on X, the self-styled “Indaboski” didn’t mince words, warning young Nigerians from low-income families to avoid what he described as “useless courses” that won’t guarantee a future.
“All these poor people, if your father doesn’t have political connection, don’t go and study Political Science, History, Microbiology, Sociology—these are useless courses. What are you doing with them?” he said.
He particularly singled out Library and Information Science for ridicule, saying, “It is better for you to go and learn barbing than study that course. Don’t waste your time and money on nonsense now.”
Framing his comments as prophetic counsel, Odumeje claimed his advice was meant to save lives and money. “For education to be a blessing, the course must make sense. That’s why we have many jobless graduates,” he declared.
But the drama didn’t stop there.
In another trending clip, Odumeje threw his hat into the political ring, announcing his intention to contest the 2027 presidential election.

“We need a young leader, not old cargoes. Nigeria needs a digital, visionary president. I think I will come out. I will come out for president,” he said, amid cheers from his congregation.
He painted an audacious vision of a modern, digital Nigeria under his leadership.
“Are you ready for me? I want to construct a road called Citadel. I want to give you a modern life, a digital life,” he said.
Odumeje’s comments have sparked widespread reactions online, with some hailing his boldness and others slamming his remarks as reckless and insulting to education.
Whether he’s seen as a prophet, performer, or political wildcard—Odumeje once again has Nigeria talking.
