Seun Kuti had a close brush with death in the United States. A stray bullet tore through the window of his hotel room, shaking what was supposed to be a quiet moment into chaos.
He posted a video of the aftermath on Instagram, and it quickly spread across social media. The clip showed the damaged window and his reaction, raw and unfiltered.
Reacting to the incident, he said, “I read somewhere that these are the civilized people.”

Still stunned, he added, “Tell me you are in America without telling me you are in America. I am in my hotel room just chilling and boom this happened.”
