A violent encounter unfolded on Tuesday afternoon in Tsaskiya, a remote village bordering Safana Local Government Area in Katsina State. The conflict, rooted in a dispute over a Russian-made rifle, quickly escalated into a fatal showdown between rival bandit factions.
One of the men involved, Dan Tukur Ude, was reportedly gunned down in the chaos.
Details of the clash came to light through a post on X by security analyst Bakatsine, who said a notorious gang leader, Dogo Online, was at the center of the violence.

“Yesterday afternoon, deadly clash erupted between rival bandits over a Russian rifle in Tsaskiya outskirt area, Safana LGA, Katsina State. Dogo Online reportedly killed Dan Tukur Ude during the clash,” Bakatsine wrote.
As of now, security forces have not released any official comment on the incident.
