The Young Progressives Party (YPP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Malik Ado-Ibrahim, has called on President Bola Tinubu to overhaul his cabinet, citing poor performance and a lack of capable leadership.
Speaking during an interview on Sunday Politics on Channels Television, Ado-Ibrahim criticised the current administration’s ability to deliver on its promises, attributing the shortcomings to the quality of individuals in key government positions.
“In my opinion, most members of the president’s cabinet need to be replaced. They’ve had their time.

“There are smarter, more capable people out there. Tinubu needs to bring in fresh minds to restore public confidence.”
He emphasised the importance of competence over political appointments, stating, “It’s not enough to name someone a health minister and expect results.
You need administrators, people who can execute real plans effectively, he said.
