Osimhen Snubs Al Hilal Move Despite Napoli Agreement, Galatasaray Eyes Opportunity

Victor Osimhen has thrown a spanner in the works of Al Hilal’s transfer plans after rejecting a move to the Saudi club—despite Napoli accepting a €75 million offer for his services.

While the deal between both clubs had been finalized, the Nigerian forward has decided against making the switch, choosing instead to hold out for a different opportunity.

The reason behind the decision remains unclear, but it signals Osimhen’s intent to stay within a more competitive European setup for now.

Galatasaray are reportedly ready to pounce, with the Turkish champions keen to bring the Super Eagles striker to Istanbul.

Talks could accelerate in the coming days, especially now that the door has been reopened following the breakdown with Al Hilal.

With manager Simone Inzaghi in need of a top-tier striker, Al Hilal are now back to the drawing board. Whether they will return with a revised offer for Osimhen or look elsewhere remains to be seen.

As it stands, the race for one of Africa’s top talents is heating up again, and Europe’s elite clubs will no doubt be watching developments closely.
