The resumption of the tinted glass permit issuance follows a directive from the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun. The announcement was made on Wednesday, April 30, by Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
Adejobi explained that the decision was taken in response to “rising concerns and complaints from the public over the harassment of vehicle owners by law enforcement agents for using factory-fitted tinted windows.”
