NIES 2025: International Session to Unlock Africa’s Energy Potential Through FDI

The 2025 Nigeria International Energy Summit (NIES), scheduled to hold from February 24–27 in Abuja, is set to feature a groundbreaking International Panel session that will explore the transformative role of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in advancing Africa’s oil, gas, and power sectors.

Themed “Driving Cross-Continental Investments: Scaling Africa’s Energy Frontier,” the session aims to tackle critical challenges, identify opportunities, and unlock Africa’s immense energy potential for sustainable development.

James Shindi, CEO of Brevity Anderson, the event producers, emphasized the importance of the session: “Africa stands at the cusp of an energy revolution. The International Panel at NIES 2025 will explore how we can overcome barriers, attract international capital, and build a sustainable energy future that positions Africa as a global energy leader.”
