Lagos Govt Sets Date for 2025 Public Service Test Across MDAs

Lagos civil servants across all levels are gearing up for a major assessment as the state government sets the stage for the 2025 Public Service Examination.

The upcoming exercise will cut across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, MDAs, reaffirming the government’s commitment to capacity building.

The week-long examination is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, the 13th of May to Monday, the 19th of May, at the Public Service Staff Development Centre, PSSDC in Magodo, according to the timetable released.

In an official statement distributed through the board’s Public Affairs Officer, Mrs Onadipe Opebere, the Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr Adebayo Orunsolu, confirmed the development.

“All forms of electronic devices, including mobile phones, iPads, smartwatches, and related gadgets, are strictly prohibited in the examination hall,” Orunsolu warned, stressing the need for order and transparency.

He further reminded candidates that “adherence is essential to maintaining a conducive examination environment.”

Candidates must print their examination slips in advance via the board’s portal using their registration login details. The slip includes vital information, including seating arrangements.

To gain entry, participants are expected to present official identification such as their Staff ID, National Identification Number, NIN, and Lagos State Residents Registration Agency, LASRRA, card.
