An inmate who recently escaped from the Orleans Justice Center (OJC) in Louisiana has surfaced on social media, calling for help from celebrities and political figures as the manhunt for him enters its third week.
Antoine Massey, one of ten inmates who escaped from the facility on May 16, posted a video from an undisclosed location, pleading his case and denying the allegations tied to his arrest and escape.
In the now-viral Instagram video, Massey appealed directly to President Donald Trump and artists Meek Mill, Lil Wayne, and NBA YoungBoy, asking for assistance in what he described as an unfair legal ordeal.
In the video, Massey claimed:
“Who I was in the past is not who I am today,”
– distancing himself from accusations that he threatened a jail maintenance worker with a weapon.
He criticized both the Orleans Justice Center and the St. Tammany Parish jail system, describing them as “corrupted.”

He alleged that the domestic abuse battery charge that led to his imprisonment stemmed from a false accusation by a jealous ex-girlfriend. To support his claims, Massey displayed what he said were official affidavits, stating, “This is the affidavits on a date right here.”
The escaped inmate further accused the State of Louisiana of corruption and mistreatment, claiming he was unjustly prosecuted and facing a potential life sentence for crimes he says he did not commit.
According to Massey, his decision to flee was not to avoid justice but to escape what he described as a “broken” and “unjust” system.
Massey and fellow escapee Derrick Groves remain at large, while authorities continue efforts to apprehend them. The case has drawn public attention due to the inmate’s bold use of social media while in hiding.
