At a private celebration in Atlanta, Georgia, Afrobeats star David Adeleke, known to millions as Davido, opened up about one of the qualities that deepened his love for his wife, Chioma Adeleke; her selfless care for his children from previous relationships.
The singer, who fathered three children with different women before marrying Chioma in a quiet ceremony in 2023, made the emotional revelation during her surprise 30th birthday party, where he also presented her with a brand new car.
In his words: “I love the way you love my kids that are not even yours. So Chioma, enjoy your 30th birthday. As we celebrate your 30th, we will also celebrate your 40th, 50th, 60th, 70th, 80th, 90th, 100th and so forth.”

Davido and Chioma, who welcomed twins in 2023, have shared a long and public journey. Their bond grew stronger after the heartbreaking loss of their first child, Ifeanyi, who drowned in a pool at the artist’s Lagos home in November 2022.
