Cristiano Ronaldo Confirms Al Nassr Stay After Portugal’s Nations League Triumph

Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed his intention to remain at Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr following Portugal’s dramatic UEFA Nations League final victory over Spain.

The thrilling final, played in front of a packed stadium, ended 2-2 after regular time before Portugal edged Spain 5-4 on penalties to clinch the title.

Ronaldo, who captained his side throughout the tournament, once again played a pivotal role in guiding Portugal to glory.

Following the match, the 40-year-old was quizzed about his club future — and gave a decisive response.

“Basically nothing is gonna change. So Al Nassr? Yea!” Ronaldo said with a smile, putting to bed any speculation of a move elsewhere.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner acknowledged that he is approaching the twilight of his glittering career but emphasized his commitment to continue playing as long as his body allows.

“You know how old I am already, I’m closer to the end than I was at the beginning… but I have to enjoy every moment,” he said. “If I don’t get seriously injured, I’ll keep going.”

Ronaldo’s statement is a significant boost for Al Nassr and the Saudi Pro League, where he has been a headline figure since joining the club in late 2022.

His presence has helped elevate the league’s global profile and inspired a wave of international signings.

As he adds yet another international title to his legacy, fans can expect to see Ronaldo continue dazzling on the pitch — both in Portugal’s colours and in the yellow and blue of Al Nassr.
