COVID-19: Lagos discharges 40 patients from isolation centres

The Lagos State Government on Friday said it has discharged 23 males and 17 females, totalling 40 Covid-19 patients from the state’s isolation centres.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who is also the Incident Commander in the state, made this known to journalists.
He said, “Today, 40 COVID-19 patients in Lagos – 17 females, 23 males and two foreign nationals were discharged from our Isolation facilities today to reunite with the society.”
The patients: 19 from Onikan, seven from Gbagada, three from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, eight from Agidingbi and three from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged after full recovery and testing negative to COVID-19.
“Let’s continue to adhere strictly to physical distancing and hand hygiene principles.”
