Chelsea Crush Real Betis 4–1 to Clinch UEFA Conference League Title

Chelsea completed a dramatic second-half comeback to defeat Real Betis 4–1 and claim the UEFA Conference League trophy on Wednesday night.

The Spanish side stunned the Blues early in the first half when Abde Ezzalzouli opened the scoring in the 9th minute, capitalizing on a defensive lapse to fire past Chelsea’s goalkeeper.

Despite dominating possession for much of the half, Chelsea went into the break trailing 1–0.

However, it was a different story after the restart as the London club came out with renewed intensity and turned the match on its head with four second-half goals.

Enzo Fernández sparked the revival in the 65th minute with a precise finish to level the game. Five minutes later, striker Nicolas Jackson put Chelsea ahead in the 70th minute after latching onto a through ball and finishing with composure.

Substitute Jadon Sancho added a third in the 83rd minute, weaving past two defenders before slotting into the bottom corner.

Moisés Caicedo put the result beyond doubt in stoppage time (90+1), smashing home a loose ball from to seal an emphatic 4–1 win.

The victory marks Chelsea’s first-ever UEFA Conference League title and provides a positive end to a challenging season for the club.

Speaking after the match, the Chelsea manager praised his team’s character and second-half performance, calling it “a show of resilience and attacking brilliance.”

The win also ensures that Chelsea will return to European competition next season with silverware in hand and momentum heading into the new campaign.
