The National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Centre for Near Earth Objects says an asteroid travelling at speeds of up to 15,000mph is shooting towards Earth’s orbit and will flash past tomorrow.
NASA is tracking an asteroid which is expected to be taller than Big Ben.
Giant space rock 2013 XA22 is zipping through the atmosphere at speeds of up to 6.68km a second, or 14,942mph.
It is an Apollo asteroid, which is a space rock with a trajectory likely to coincide with Earth’s orbit.
Apollo asteroids are the most dangerous kinds for this reason, but are unlikely to cause damage even if they did collide with Earth’s atmosphere.
