…says ‘Giadom’s recognition by Buhari indicates it’s all over for him’
A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, on Wednesday mocked All Progressives Congress National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, over the current crisis in the ruling party.
Fani-Kayode, who was reacting to President Muhammadu Buhari’s recognition of Victor Giadom as the acting National Chairman of the APC, said with such a decision, Tinubu had been retired from politics and thrown under the bus by the President.
The former minister said the Court of Appeal’s ruling upholding the suspension of the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole, was enough clear indication that it was all over for Tinubu.
Fani-Kayode, who wrote on his Facebook wall, said, “First, Oshiomhole was kicked out by the Court of Appeal. Then his preferred replacement, Abiola Ajimobi, falls into a coma. Then his archrival, Giadom is recognised by Buhari as acting national chairman.
“Conclusion: It is over for Tinubu. He has been thrown under the bus and retired from politics.”
Tinubu, who is one of Oshiomhole’s biggest supporters, is believed to be nursing a Presidential ambition ahead of 2023.
