Aggrieved N-POWER beneficiaries in the four Akoko local government areas of Ondo State are poised for a showdown with the Federal Government over unpaid N10,000 monthly stipend.
Over 100 youths are affected by this development.
The youths made their grievances known to our correspondent on Tuesday in Akure.
Their spokespersons, Jimoh Mudasiru and Balogun Lukman, disclosed that the Federal government had in the past five months stopped the payment of their N10,000 monthly stipends.
They said things became different when Minister of Humanitarian Affairs took over the programme.
They appealed to the minister to consider their plight and pay the backlog of their monthly stipends to them to enable them to complete their programme.
Efforts to contact their coordinator in Oka Akoko centre proved abortive as his phone was switched off.
